Step 1

The question that I am most interested in deals with cigarette smoking and its affects it has on people socially, mentally, and physically.

Step 2

I can narrow my question in a number of ways, for example I could narrow it down to college students in America, to students at ISU, and I could even go smaller than that and break it down between each grade

Another way I can refocus my question is by asking how has cigarette smoking affected college students now compared to past generations of college students, also I could say what is how the social structure of collages ultimately affect one decision to partake in smoking, furthermore I could ask how students at ISU partaking cigarette smoking affects them economically, as well as academically. Lastly I could break down the mental and physical affects of smoking down to a four year period.
